Moving to Bristol from Brighton

Hi Spare Room !

My name’s Charlie, I’m 28 (soon 29) moving from Brighton to Bristol, after a year mostly out of the UK travelling. I’m self-employed, working on different things from live music to video+podcast editing to operations / project / events management.

With work and life being a bit mad/busy at times, I’m looking for somewhere friendly to relax in my new home. I’m striving for a good balance of social and personal time this year, I have some friends in Bristol already but would love to form good friendships with my new housemates. I had a really good experience of this previously through Spare Room in Brighton and am quite excited to see who I will meet this time hahaha

I love music, good food, sports and exercise, quality time with quality people and then some peaceful time to recuperate. I’m well up for leading or helping out on shared dinners. Have a van, happy to use for household chores etc. I will likely have some instruments with me to rehearse with, but will keep most of my equipment at a separate lockup so noise won’t be an issue. Cleanliness in the gaff is a must have, respecting boundaries and open/clear communication also essential.

I’m wanting to move anytime from 22nd Sept onwards. Looking forward to the new start in Bris, and would love to make your home mine :)
