Looking for a room for me + my cat in Barry area

I’m looking for a room from October for myself and my cat, Magnus, following a change in personal circumstances. Previously I lived with and looked after my grandmother, but unfortunately she died without leaving a will and now my uncle is selling my home.

I’m in the final 16 months of a part time PhD in medieval literature at Cardiff University, and I work part time in Cardiff, so I split my time between the office and working from home. Magnus is cuddly and sociable and loves his outside time, so ideally I would like to find somewhere we can move where he can still access a garden.

Currently I’m still living in my late gran’s house in Barry, but my uncle is keen for the house to be sold ASAP, so once I’ve packed up my life and move my stuff into a storage unit, it will be time for me to move too.

I spent my 20s living with and looking after my gran, I’m not a partier, and I usually spend my evenings reading, knitting, or working on my thesis. I’m a vegetarian, and I don’t drink or smoke.
