Looking for a room and roomies in Brighton

I'm Zoey. I'm 30, trans and soon to be a 1st year student of Computer Science at the Uni of Sussex. Pretty cliche, I know :P

I'm looking for a room to rent starting September (ideally before the 29th).

I drive so parking - even if on street with a permit - would be really nice. A good public transit location would be a big plus. Don't need too much from a room - at least enough space for a bed, somewhere to store clothes and gubs, and a desk for computer work. Maybe ethernet if wifi is patchy.

I'm looking for a relaxed and respectful household, ideally lgbt+ friendly. Sociable housemates would be nice but not required. I'm a rather quiet person myself, so I'm fine with co-existing quietly. But I'd be also happy to chat, catch up over each other's day over some tea or whatever. Pretty flexible there.
As long as boundaries are respected and the place is kept nice and clean. I'm happy to contribute to to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable place to live.

I don't have pets but am totally open to live somewhere that does. I don't smoke. I'm pretty chill hobby wise - playing games, watching a good show (have you seen Arcane and Andor?). I like wide variety of music but love NIN - but don't worry, I use earphones. I'm not a monster :) Always down to spend time out with friends, play some D&D. I like going out for walks so looking forward to knowing Brighton better.
