My name is Dan, a 38-year-old man originally from Brighton, looking for a place to call home in
the Seaford or Newhaven area.
I am looking for a room in a shared house, a studio, or a one-bedroom flat, and I'm hoping to
rent directly from a live-in or live-out landlord. My budget is up to £750 pcm (including bills).
A bit about me: I am a quiet, clean, and considerate person. I'm a non-smoker with no pets. I
genuinely enjoy keeping a tidy and organised home. My background includes responsible
roles such as being a Fire Marshal and a licensed Security Operative. I'm also a
semi-professional house sitter with excellent references.
After recovering from recent surgery, I am now looking to regain my independence. I'm
currently living in a rural village with poor transport links, so finding a place in Seaford or
Newhaven is a priority for me to start at the new PureGym and secure a permanent PAYE role.
While my background is typically self-employed (working at major nationwide events and
festivals), I am now focused on finding stable, local employment. Initially, my rent will be paid
reliably and directly by Universal Credit.
While I don't have a guarantor, I have excellent references from my previous long-term
flat-share and from my house-sitting clients.

services like cleaning or pet-sitting in exchange for a small rent reduction.
