Postdoc looking for room - new to Bristol!

Hi! I'm Charlie, a 26 year-old ecologist. I just moved to Bristol in late November, to start a 3 year postdoctoral research associate role at the University of Bristol. I'm looking for a warm home to rent for two months from the start of January, before I leave town for 6 months of fieldwork at the end of Feb. I'm looking ideally for somewhere within 15 minutes (by bike) of Bristol Uni campus, but generally flexible!

I'm an social, easygoing and adventurous person. I enjoy spending time with my flatmates, and would hope to get to know you rather than just being a cohabitant, but also happy being more independent. I've lived in the same flat in London for the past 4.5 years, with a constantly rotating cast of flatmates who I remain good friends with. I am a keen cook, enjoy listening to music, watching movies and playing board games with my friends, and also getting out into the countryside for some hiking and camping. As a housemate, I am clean, tidy, respectful and undemanding. I don't smoke, but enjoy sharing a drink with friends on a Saturday night.

I work as a tropical insect ecologist, so would be away for a several months of the year to visit fieldwork sites in Malaysia, Brazil and Ghana. Most of my working time in Bristol would be spent in the laboratory, so I will be out of the house throughout most working days.
