Friendly couple - developer & yoga/dance teacher

Hi there! We’re Tom and Rebecca, a friendly couple visiting London for the first time and excited to make it our temporary home — and maybe more, depending on how things go.

I’m Tom (35), a professional software developer working remotely for a media company, and I’m originally from Oregon, USA. My partner Rebecca (53) is a yoga and dance instructor — she teaches everything from traditional yoga to laughter yoga — and she’s also a nationally certified ASL interpreter and massage therapist.

We’ve spent the last five years living close to nature, even building our own cob (earthen) home in the Oregon countryside, and now we’re seeking a new adventure and a higher quality of life in London.

We’re both social, considerate, and creative people who enjoy conversations, good food, and staying active. I’m really interested in cycling around London. Rebecca loves to dance, so we’re excited to explore London’s dance and music scene — though we’re not drinkers ourselves, we’re perfectly comfortable around those who do enjoy a drink.

At the moment, our stay would likely be up to six months, but we’re open to staying longer depending on how we settle in and how the visa process unfolds. We’re hoping to arrive in London in late November or early December, and we’re looking for a clean, comfortable, furnished space with friendly housemates.
