I’m Frida, 38, a writer and researcher recently back in London after a few years in the Amazon. I’m starting a PhD on Ayahuasca, plant sentience and ecological consciousness transformation, and I also work part-time in plant medicine retreats, so will occasionally travel for a few weeks. Lucky you.

Before leaving for Latin America I lived in the same big Clapton house for five years, and I would love to find something similar. Not a full-on, Nonviolent Communication-practising commune, but close enough: lots of cozy dinner parties, growing veg in the garden, ordering Burford Browns in bulk, occasionally cooking for each other (but also sometimes having gloriously anti-social cereal in our rooms), movie screenings, the odd night out, sharing a bottle of wine, a Growing Communities veg bag, in fact we even had a milkman. Fine, it was pretty much a commune. But everyone showered regularly.
