Student Looking for a Pet-Friendly Double Room

Hi! I’m a 19-year-old student at ARU Chelmsford looking for a double room in a friendly, pet-friendly home to move in August or September 2026.

I have two lovely ferrets who live indoors in a large, secure cage — they’re clean, quiet, and spend most of their time sleeping or playing in their enclosure. I take full responsibility for them, keep their area spotless, and they never cause any damage or smell.

A bit about me:
• I’m tidy, respectful, and easy-going — I always keep shared spaces clean and tidy.
• I love music, play guitar, piano, and to sometimes sing, but I’m very mindful of noise and always use headphones when practicing.
• I work part-time as a swimming teacher, so I have a regular income and can provide proof of employment or references if needed.
• I love photography and am never without one of my many cameras!
• I have my own car, so parking or nearby transport links would be a bonus.
• I’m sociable but also value quiet time — happy to chat, share meals, or hang out, but also respect everyone’s space.

I’m ideally looking for:

A double room (furnished or unfurnished)

In or near Chelmsford (30 minute drive)

Around £600–£750 pcm, but flexible for the right place

Pet-friendly accommodation
