Female Professional Seeking Clean, Quiet Dbl Room

Hi! I am from the UK (British citizen) but have lived most of my life in Seattle USA, and most recently in Iceland. New to Glasgow as of Nov 2025. Seeking a double room for just myself, starting April 1st (open to 30th-31st March move-in). No pets, no partner, no kids. 👌 Just me.

Non-driver, so seeking walking distance to grocery stores and Scot rail transit for work. Areas: Finnieston east to Hyndland is ideal, but would consider the “northern” southside (Pollackshaws East, Shawlands or Queen’s Park) if very close to fast transport into Glasgow.

Me:
I’m a professional (work for NHS in Dalmuir 3 days a week). I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and mostly keep to myself in the evenings other than cooking after work. Enjoys a friendly chat and up for occasional hangout, but needs downtime to myself after work. Morning, daily, pre-work shower-er and exercises high level of personal hygiene. NB - I make jewellery at home as my side business so am busy with that on my 2 days off (typically Tuesday & Friday) and much of weekends.

You:
Ideal roommate is another professional like me, who is chill, friendly and respects quiet time after 10pm, individual space and also wants a clean / tidy flat (or house).

I value upfront, timely 2-way communication and respect communal spaces. I want to live in a clean and peaceful home that’s a sanctity for all.

Room needs are:
• a comfortable double+ bed
• standing wardrobe (bar acceptable for <6 mo short-term let)
• chest of drawers
• desk w/chair
No smoking in the house is a must, including vaping, etc.

I enjoy walks in the park and am an avid hiker! I want to plan some hikes in the Highlands this summer. Happy to go together on trips if interested. :)
