I am from London (British citizen) but have lived most of my life in the US. Resident in Glasgow since Nov 2025. Seeking a double room for just myself, starting 1 July (open to June 30 move-in). No pets, no partner, no children. Just myself. References Available/Provided and proof of employment if needed.

Non-driver, so seeking walking distance to grocery stores and Scot rail transit for work. Areas: West End in Glasgow is ideal, and Singer/Clydebank, close to Scot rail station.

Me:
I’m a professional (work for NHS in Dalmuir 3 days a week). I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and mostly keep to myself in the evenings other than cooking after work. Enjoys a friendly chat and up for occasional hangout, but needs downtime to myself. I make jewellery at home in my room as my side business so am busy with that on my 2 days off (typically Tuesday & Friday) and much of weekends. I work a lot and don’t have visitors over.

You:
Ideal roommate is another professional like me, who is relaxed, friendly and respects quiet time between 10pm - 5:30am, considerate and also wants a clean / tidy flat (or house). No smoking in the house is a must, including vaping, etc. I’m allergic to cats, sorry.

I value upfront, timely 2-way communication and respect communal spaces. I want to live in a clean and peaceful home that’s a sanctity for all.

Room needs are:
• a comfortable small double + bed
• standing clothes wardrobe (bar acceptable for short-term let)
• chest of drawers
• desk w/chair
En suite is first choice, but not dealbreaker.

I cook regularly, don’t drink, don’t smoke, and am health conscious. I work out several times a week at home and enjoy walks in the neighborhood and hiking. I go to bed early and wake up early typically around 5:30 AM.
