Looking for a professional Buddy up in Salford

I’m looking for a like-minded professional to get a 2-bed apartment together in Local Crescent from around the 9th of September.

I’ve lived in the building already and genuinely love it, so I’m hoping to stay here. I’ve found a few great apartments available, and the tenancy is on a monthly rolling contract with the new renters rights act, so there’s no long-term commitment if circumstances change. Ideally though, I’d love to find someone who’s looking for a long-term housemate and hopefully even a good friend.

The apartments are around £1,480 per month (£740 each), with bills split equally:

• Water – approx. £75/month (£37.50 each)
• Electricity – approx. £75/month (£37.50 each)
• WiFi – approx. £30/month (£15 each)
• Council Tax – approx. £192/month (£96 each)

So you’re looking at roughly £925-£930 per month all in, depending on utility usage.

A bit about me

I’m 30 and work full-time as a professional. I work a few jobs so I’m barely home so you have the bonus of an empty place majority of the time.

I’d describe myself as easy-going, respectful and sociable. I enjoy going out for food, comedy nights, concerts, arcades, road trips and random adventures just as much as I enjoy a chilled evening watching films, gaming or relaxing at home.

I’m into fitness I compete in mma and train regularly, but I’m equally happy spending a lazy Sunday watching a good series.

I don’t drink or smoke, but that doesn’t stop me enjoying a social life. I’m clean, considerate and believe home should be somewhere everyone feels comfortable and relaxed.

I also have two incredibly friendly cats. They’re well-behaved, affectionate and usually win everyone over. They stay with me part-time between me and my partner or when she visits, so you’ll need to be happy living with cats occasionally.

The only house rule is no pork in the flat as I am a practicing Muslim.

Who I’m looking for

Someone who’s working full-time, clean, respectful and easy to get along with.

Ideally you’re the sort of person who’s happy to have a chat, watch a film, grab food or head out every now and then, while also respecting each other’s own space and routines. I’d much rather find someone I genuinely get on with than just someone to split the rent with.
