Hi there! I’m Tom!

I’m a friendly and sociable person once I get to know people, but I prefer a relaxed, comfortable home over parties or heavy drinking (but I will still go out once in a while for special occasions/celebrations!). I really enjoy a calm household where everyone can feel at ease and just be themselves.

I work a hybrid schedule, with WFH on Mondays and Fridays and office days midweek. On work-from-home days I’m usually tucked away in my room with a headset, so I don’t disturb anyone.

I take pride in being a reliable and considerate housemate. Bills are always paid on time, shared areas are kept tidy, and I’m happy to have open, honest conversations if anything ever needs addressing. I believe a little communication goes a long way in keeping a household running smoothly.

Outside of work, I have a lot of hobbies I’m passionate about. I love tabletop RPGs, wargames like Battletech, video games, and going for long walks. I also enjoy trying out new hobbies, so there’s often something exciting I’m getting into. I’m fine with normal household noise, even if things get a little loud sometimes! I just need some privacy between 8am & 5pm on Mondays & Fridays for my working hours at home. I mostly stick to my own space, and I always check with housemates before having guests over, and I’m happy for them to do the same.

I don’t have strict preferences about who I live with. I just want a home that’s respectful, welcoming, and cooperative. If you’re looking for a housemate who’s friendly, reliable, and easy going, I’d be a great fit. I identify as LGBTQ+, and I’m perfectly comfortable with people from all backgrounds and beliefs as long as they don’t harm others.
