Looking for a shared flat for beginning of 2026

Hi! My name is Anabel, and I'm 18 years old. I'm looking for a place to stay in the beginning of 2026 for the year. (I know the info says april 2026 but honestly all I know is that I'll be out of where I live around that time, so I'm very flexible in terms of moving around).

A little about me; I moved to Mexico with my family when I was 12 and have been living here ever since. I live in a mostly Canadian/American city, so danger here is low. I am very tidy and love my own time and space, but I love going out when the time is right and socializing. I have a few health issues that shouldn't be a bother (kidney stones and anemia), and I've learned to handle them fine. I do not drink, smoke, or do any recreational drugs. I am in a long-term relationship with my boyfriend of 2 years, and he's working abroad so I want to explore. I graduated high school 2 years ago, though my diploma is stuck in Canada. I am very active, and go to the gym 4-5 times a week, and I eat rather healthy with some exceptions. I have a dog, a chihuahua, who I'd love to bring with me, but I know she'd also be happy with my family at home, too. I'm not a huge chef, but I am an excellent baker and will make anything you request (yes, I will buy the groceries needed).

I love to read - it's all I do. I'm active on book spaces on social media and I'm in the process of writing and publishing my debut. Music is also a big part of my life; I am a die hard emo rock fan with a mix of broadway in there. I also love Harry Potter (sorry, i know).

In terms of what and who I'm looking for, I really don't have any set expectations. I strictly prefer living with female(s), and sexual orientation doesn't matter to me; love who you love! I know I need to live in an area within walking or biking distance from a food shop and some fun little cafes and bookshops. Nothing too crazy. The room can be whichever size you have available, and the bathroom can be shared or separate. I do not own a lot of things other than my books, so I don't need much space, though my own closet would be very appreciated. I'd love a shared living space and kitchen, and am able to pay for all of my own things (I am looking to get a job whilst I'm there but will need some time to get my feet firmly planted first.) WiFi is a must, obviously, but honestly I'm pretty good with whatever you've got along these lines.

What to expect living with me is not much; I'm very introverted, and I do have a personality disorder (message me for more as I'm not sharing that out to the world but please know that I'm not a heartless monster :) ). That doesn't really do anything in terms of how I do things and outwardly treat people, but it's good to know nonetheless. I'd just love to have a friend to experience this with who has the same interests as I do. I'm tidy and kind (i hope), and love to chat and listen whenever you need.
