Looking for a room in a shared flat ✨🛏️

Hii :), my name is Greta (she/her) and I am a 23 year-old environmental science student from Germany. In January 2026, I‘ll start my Erasmus semester in Edinburgh and I am currently looking for a room in a shared flat 🛏️.

In my ideal shared flat I have a comfy communal relationship with my flatmates. Of course, everyone can always take time for themselves, but we wouldn’t live completly seperate and apart from each other. I‘d love to do things together like having breakfast, cooking, going to a bar or play gamesfrom time to time. We would communicate clearly with each other and keep the flat clean collectively, for example through a rotation cleaning plan.

Now a little bit more about me:
I will be studying at the University of Edinburgh for one semester and then return to Germany to write my bachelor thesis, which means I will be living in Edinburgh for about 6 months. In my free time, I like to spend time with friends, look for treasures at flea matkets and second hand shops, go out into nature, do creative stuff like chrocheting, knitting or similar and I like to bake (I make really good Pullas (finnish Cinnamon rolls 🐌)). Other than that, I started Muay Thai boxing a few months ago and hope that I can continue doing that in Edinburgh as well. In my current city, I am politically active in different leftist groups and am mainly involved in anti-fascist and queer-feminist issues. I hope that I will be able to find places and groups in Edinburgh as well to exchange ideas and organise with other people❤️‍🔥
I have never been to Scotland before and am really looking forward to exploring the city and the surrounding nature!

PS: I love animals and can’t walk past a cat on the street without checking to see if the cat wants to be petted. So for me, having a cat or a dog in the flat would be a huge joy🐈🐩⭐️
