Moving to Glasgow for a new job

Hi, my name is Nicole, I'm moving to Glasgow from the Highlands to start a new job at the end of January. I'm looking for somewhere to stay for at least a couple of months until I find my feet in the city. For the right place, arrangement and price, I'd be open to something longer term.

I used to live in Glasgow for my university studies back in the day but it's been a while and I'm open to any locations within a 30 minute cycle of the city centre. I'm out of the country until mid January, so only interested in properties that I would be paying for from beginning of January at the very earliest.

Practicalities - if I could be picky, I'm looking for somewhere big enough that I can host my two bikes! One is a road bike that sits on a turbo trainer and would be more than happy to share this set up in a communal space e. g. garage or shed for the right place. The other is my commuting bike that I'm basically permanently attached for daily travel and for bigger adventures on weekends, and I would just like somewhere that I have peace of mind that it is safe e. g. inside a building or in a close or communal garden at the very least. I absolutely love cats and dogs but don't have my own! I will be working in an office Monday to Friday in the city centre minimum 2 days a week, with up to 3 days a weeks WFH, so very good WiFi is an absolute must. I have my own desk I can bring but no other furniture!

On a typical day, outside of work, I do a fair bit of training (triathlon). I like to explore museums, art galleries, random events in the city, go out for a pint or two, do pub quizzes, go to gigs. Also on the lookout when I move for a good climbing wall and yoga classes. On weekend I'm likely to be out exploring on bike, foot, train or bus or very likely a combination. I also spend some time just at my laptop in my spare time on various side projects!
