My name is Valentyn, and I'm a 32-year-old mature student looking for a room to rent in Edinburgh.
• About Me: I'm studying at Edinburgh Napier University (Merchiston campus) and also work part-time, so I have a reliable and steady income. I'm a non-smoker and lead a pretty focused, balanced lifestyle.
• What I'm Looking For: I'm searching for a quiet, friendly flatshare. Because I spend a significant amount of time studying, my main requirement is a room spacious enough to fit a desk and a chair. If the room already comes furnished with them, that's a bonus!
Why I'm a Good Flatmate
I pride myself on being a very considerate and easy-going person to live with.
• Clean & Tidy: I am very clean and organised, and I always do my part to keep common areas (like the kitchen and bathroom) tidy.
• Quiet & Respectful: As a mature student with a part-time job, my days are quite structured. I'm not a party person and value a peaceful home environment. I'm very respectful of other people's space, schedules, and need for quiet time.
• Reliable: I'm responsible and have never been late with rent or bills.
• Sociable: While I'm focused on my studies, I'm also friendly and happy to have a chat, share a cup of tea, or watch a movie, but I'm equally happy doing my own thing.
The Details
• Budget: My budget is approximately £700 per month (ideally including bills, but flexible).
• Location: I'm relatively flexible on location, as long as there are good transport links to the Merchiston area (e. g., Polwarth, Bruntsfield, Gorgie, Dalry, Haymarket, etc.).
But parking slot will be a huge bonus.
• Move-in Date: I'm looking to move as soon as possible, but all time slots will be acceptable.
