Hi! I’m taking a year’s sabbatical and I’ve come to Wales as I’ve fallen in love with Tenby!
I’ve been a learning support assistant (TA) in Kingston, London, for 20 years. I’ve been working with students with learning differences and disabilities in a large sixth form college and also as a private maths tutor.
I’d like a break to establish a better work/life balance in a more peaceful location. And also to save up some money to travel to South East Asia.
I’m a warm, friendly and patient person and I am looking for a nice, sunny and peaceful place to relax in and call home.
I’m from Jersey originally, but I have lived in London for 26 years. I went to a sixth form college near Llantwit Major, (United World College of the Atlantic) for 2 years many moons ago and I had lovely memories of my time in Wales.
I love languages and meeting people from other countries. I speak A level German, GCSE French, very basic Spanish and now I’m trying to pick up some Welsh!
I would love to live with other warm people who have a similar mindset/outlook on life.
