Description
Hi,
I’m Adrian (they/them), a queer neurodivergent thirty-something working in the publishing industry.
My biggest passion is circus arts - I run Manchester’s largest circus skills club, where I teach juggling workshops and facilitate workshops in all kinds of other circus skills. I go to circus conventions throughout the year and meet up with other jugglers and spinners regularly.
I also love bouldering, hiking, music (I sing in a disco choir), anime and manga, and going to gigs and festivals.
I’m a very easygoing person with a good sense of humour, looking for somewhere quiet and wholesome but still fun. I like to cook (I’m not vegan but eat mostly plant-based and can adapt to anyone’s needs - I love making vegan desserts) and I like to go out for a drink and a dance occasionally. My politics are far-left and trans inclusive, and I’m hoping to share a space with similar-minded people.
I work remotely in a regular 9-5, although remote work can be lonely so I go to a queer coworking meetup in Manchester every Friday. I’m not a driver (planning on learning soon) and I cycle most places. I’ll be bringing with me my work desk setup, two full bookshelves, a collection of circus props, and a couple of houseplants. You’re welcome to borrow any of the books and props!
That seems like enough - if you have any other questions please just ask!
