Hello there! 😊
I’m Maria Teresa, a 27-year-old Italian PhD student, and I’ll be conducting part of my research at the University of Edinburgh from 19/01 to 19/06. I’m looking for accommodation for that period, and I’m planning to arrive a few days earlier to get settled over the weekend.
I’m absolutely pet-friendly and I love nature 💚 (I’m a botanist!). I’m a quiet, kind person — I enjoy small chats on the couch with a cup of tea ☕, but I also appreciate a nice evening out at the pub every now and then. I love walking and I regularly go to the gym. I also really value having some time to myself, and I’m equally respectful of others needing their own space.
I’m not much of a party person, so I’m looking for a calm place with good vibes, and peaceful and friendly energy. Studio or apartment with female is preferable.
It’s important for me to live in a tidy and clean environment, especially when it comes to the kitchen. In return, I promise to bake anything you like, and there will be a lovely sweet smell in the kitchen whenever I do🥧.
During the five months, visits will be very sporadic — my best friend might come once, and my boyfriend just a few times — and they are both very easy-going and pleasant people, so I’d appreciate flatmates who are flexible about that.
