Description
Hi, I’m Martha☺️
I’ve recently been offered a job to start as a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner for South West London and St George’s Trust in January (16th). I’ve been assigned Sutton, so anywhere along/near the Southern Rail or Thameslink lines (e. g. Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Common, Balham, Wimbledon, Earsfield) would be ideal!
Alongside placements in schools, I’ll be doing a year-long course with King’s College London (Denmark Hill) - after which I’ll become a qualified practitioner. I’d then be expected to work for a year in the role, so I would be looking to stay for 1-2 years.
I envision the role will leave me feeling pretty busy as there will be uni assignments to get through outside of work hours, but I’m hugely keen for wherever I end up to be a home💌
A lil bit about me: I did a History degree at Durham Uni (graduated in 2024). I’ve since been working in a hospital school in Cambridge, which I’ve loved and will be really quite sad to leave. I have a fair few friends from uni dotted around London, but I’m definitely keen to find some new hobbies/circles to surround myself with - who knows, joining a run club might be in my future… I love meeting friends for coffee/a drink, and am often found watching trash tv in the evening with a tea. A chilled, warm, friendly environment is really important to me.
If this sounds look a good fit for your home, I’d love to hear from you!
