Looking a new room in East Janaury 2026

Hi, I’m Jake, 27, from Belfast.

I’m looking for a double room in East London, where I’ve lived for the past year, ideally in a nice flat with friendly, easygoing flatmates.

I work in the music industry at a major label and usually work from home one or two days a week. Weekdays can be busy as I’m often at gigs or shows after work, but when I’m not, I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, watching a series, or just relaxing in my room.

On weekends, I like to stay active and am hoping to do a bit more travel in 2026 with short city breaks.

I’m clean, tidy, and value a friendly, social home. I’m the sort of flatmate who will hang your washing on the dryer if you forget, or pick up painkillers on the way home if you’re unwell.

Being away from Belfast, I’d love my next flat to feel like a home away from home. Whether it’s the occasional dinner, drinks, watching a series together, or going to a gig, it would be great to share experiences. Perks of living with me include plenty of concert tickets, vinyl, and merch. At the same time, I respect personal space and understand everyone has their own life.
