Need peaceful home or another human to create one!

Hi! I am looking for a double room in a safe home or a buddy to create such a place with :)

Me as a person:
I work full-time as an admin for an engineering consultancy in Clapham and am also pursuing further development in environmentalism (next year I'm changing my work role or place to work closely with this field in a technical perspective). I enjoy sports, bjj, hiking, cycling, swimming, cooking, and exploring nature, cities, and cultures. I also love growing plants, reading, drawing, and conversations about science, society, education, and philosophy. I’m on the side of humanity and prefer an altruistic and minimalist lifestyle for myself.

Me as a housemate:
I’m a morning person, tidy, and considerate. Most of the time I’m at work and the rest balancing outside in diverse activities or at home resting and recharging. I like cooking, reading, learning and exploring new stuff. Always up for a good conversation, laugh and shared activities together, balancing respectfully with a personal space.

What I value in a housemates and in a home space:
Ideally, I'm looking for a permanent, smoke/drug-free home. I want to live with open-minded, compassionate housemates who have self-knowledge and value a clean, peaceful environment. I prefer communication upfront, a shoe-free house and people who cleans after themself and would welcome a cleaning rota or hiring a cleaner for shared spaces. I welcome hosting for our family members when needed, friend groups or clubs.

Home I don’t want to live in:
- heavy on parties and drug usage,
- random bringing of unknown people,
- disrespect towards each other;

Additional details:
I'm looking for the areas in London Zone 1/2 close to the Northern, Victoria lines, or Hackney, I’m considering moving between December - February and have a budget of £700pcm - these are my initial, preferred capacities, and I’m open for negotiations and adjustments. I’m happy to provide references from my employer and/or landlord if needed. I’m in the UK legally on a visa expiring at the end of the next year 2026, which will be extended further.

I’m happy to make a video-call, meet in person or arrange a viewing over the weekend.
