Looking to Lodge in West Bridgford

Hello,

I am looking for a good sized room in a house in/around NG2 (West Bridgford/Wilford/Gamston/Edwalton). I have been lodging in a shared house in central WB for almost 6 years and I am only looking to move on because the live-in landlord is retiring and selling up early next year. (Gutted!) I am in the midst of selling my own house in Warrington, but it is taking SO LONG that my intention to buy my own property in Nottingham has been temporarily side-lined as I will not be able to complete a purchase before needing to leave here, thus I am seeking alternative accommodation for at least 3 months from 1ST FEB 2026.

I am 43, from Warrington, extensively travelled, reasonably active, non-smoker, and currently fly drones for a living. I typically work during the day (very infrequent weekends or night shifts) and don't tend to work from home much, maybe once a fortnight if at all. I am a clean and tidy introvert with a car and a few miscellaneous possessions that would like to be able to store somewhere (a bike and a box) but otherwise try to live pretty minimally and in peace and quiet wherever possible!
