As a quiet, 'bookish', older lady, I would prefer a remote old cottage or a ground floor 'granny flat' / annex type of accommodation.
If you are worried about the type of character I am, I have lots of references on Rover (I look after people's pets in their houses (not in yours), to validate how clean, tidy and respectful I am of other people's homes. I also have a DBS (Enhanced) certificate as I used to work for the welfare of soldiers and now offer free counselling to veterans.
To negotiate the lower rent, I am looking between £500-£600 / month, I would be willing to look after your pets, cook and clean.
A parking area (either on the property or outside of it) for my small Ford van would be appreciated.
