Description

✨I’m Katie✨

I'm 36, moving from Colorado, US, to London this January for my master’s in Project Management, along with my two doodle girls 🐶🐶

I’m looking for at least a 2-bed, 2-bath place (ideally with my own bathroom). A small garden, terrace, or nearby green space 🐾 would be fantastic for the dogs. My budget is around £1,500 each before bills, though I’m flexible depending on the location.

I’m mainly looking in South London for an easy commute to South Bank — areas like Clapham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Camberwell, Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, or Deptford. I’m also open to Central spots like Marylebone or Mayfair, or even Stratford in East London, as long as the commute stays around 30-ish minutes to South Bank.

Furnished or unfurnished, both work for me, and I’m hoping to move in sometime between early and mid-January. I’ll be living off a solid savings cushion my first year, so rent and bills will always be covered on my end.

About me:
I’m considerate, respectful, and love a home that’s kind, relaxed, and good-energy. Ideally, my roommate would be in their mid-20s or older — friendly, emotionally mature, chill. Introverts and ambiverts welcome! And if you love dogs, you’re already halfway there.

My two doodle girls are older, sweet, cuddly, and fully convinced they’re part human. I’d love a roommate who genuinely enjoys dogs; they thrive with more than one person around and will quickly adopt you as their honorary emotional support auntie or uncle. They'll snuggle by your side... or if you prefer a lap dog, they'll accommodate to that too.

I’m pretty chill and long past the “party every weekend” phase. I’m more of a cozy, adult-life girlie; think movie nights, exploring markets and bookstores, trying new cafes, wandering the city, or getting hyper-fixated on an ADHD hobby every few weeks. I love being outdoors and baking when time allows (though baking in London might take some adjustment!).

I’m clean, organized, and transitioning out of 14 years of marriage; so yes, healing energy only. I really value a peaceful, respectful home where everyone has their own space but can hang out casually when it feels right. Nothing forced, nothing chaotic.

Message me if you think we’d get along! 💛

Side note: I may be able to fly out as early as late next week to view places if you’d like to meet up or tag along.
