Exchange Student - Looking for January to April

Hello! My name is Christian and I'll be in studying at UCL for an exchange as a masters student. I'm looking for a place for January 6th-April 28th. (The end date isn't exact and is flexible.)

Ideally, the place would be in walking distance of the school (30-minute walk or less).

I respect common areas and mainly socialize outside the home. Of course, if I get along with a roommate I also like to chat. I like checking out cultural events and what cities have to offer, whether biking, walking in parks, going to independent theaters, or eating and drinking at a range of places.

I'm coming from NYC so I'm used to big cities. Hoping to explore London on the weekends and focus on my studies during the week.
