PhD candidate on a research exchange for 5 months

Hi! I’m looking (quiet urgently) for a short-term let (5 months) in Edinburgh, ideally not in Leith as it makes my commute to Heriot-Watt a bit long. I’d also love to bring my cat from mid-February. Marmelade is 4 years old, very cute, calm and well-behaved. :)

I’m flexible when it comes to the vibe of the flat, I’m happy in a social place where we can cook together or explore the city, but I’m also perfectly comfortable with a more independent atmosphere.

I get along best with people who are social, curious, and creative. I am respectful of shared spaces, tidy, calm, and social. I love cooking and I appreciate starting with a clean kitchen and leaving it spotless afterward. You can also expect some occasional yoga sessions at home, but nothing noisy.

I enjoy spending quality time with the people I live with: shared meals, discovering Edinburgh, or just nice conversations. At the same time, I value quiet moments and space when needed, so I’m looking for flatmates who can naturally sense that.
