Engineering student looking for long term housing

Hi!

I’m looking for a room and friendly, respectful flatmates. My ideal move-in date would be between the 20-25th of May, but I’m also open to move in any time from the start of May if it’s the right place.

I'm currently studying a Masters in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with German at the University of Edinburgh full time and am ideally looking for a place near the Kings Buildings, George Square or somewhere with very good bus connections.

I’m tidy, organised, and considerate, and I'd love a place where I can relax and recharge, but I also enjoy a friendly and social atmosphere where flatmates feel comfortable spending time together.

I’m someone who enjoys occasional shared moments—like cooking together, having a drink in the evening, or just talking—but I also respect everyone’s personal space and routines. I think a good balance between social time and independence is what makes a home feel positive and stress-free.

More about me: I’m into physics, especially astronomy and engineering, as well as languages, philosophy, and exercise. I love to learn new things and will often be working on personal projects. In my free time, I like to listen to music, practice (quietly) on my guitar, read/study, go to the gym or for a walk, and play games. I also enjoy going out with friends, whether that’s for food, drinks, or just exploring new places.
