Lifelong Learner Seeks City Centre Lodging

Hello! I seek lodging in or near Oxford City Centre (or Summertown) for any period of two-weeks up to six-weeks between 21 January and 25 February.

During this period, I'm taking continuing education courses at a Summertown campus of Oxford University.

About me:

48, solo-traveler. Non-smoker. Tidy. Neurodivergent person who cherishes in equal measure her solitude and getting to know others. As a Night Owl, I'm a late-riser -- but quiet and non-obtrusive at any hour.

I love animals, especially cats, and am experienced at caring for them. I would therefore be happy to pet-sit in exchange for rent and/or do some light housekeeping or caregiving.

For the last ten years, I have made my living as an independent perfumer and own a shop where I live outside of Philadelphia, PA. I have a graduate degree in religious studies and have been a part-time university lecturer on and off for 20 years.

I'm a great fan of British literature and period dramas, especially Brideshead Revisited.

When I spent a month in Oxford this past summer, it felt like a second home. I'd like to discover the place more deeply and so a live-in landlord situation with a local denizen could be ideal. My preference is for older homes with charm and character (and people;). However, I am open to newer decor and construction.

I expect to be away some (or all) weekends, traveling regionally.
