Looking for a furnished room/flat in Oxford

I’m looking to move to Oxford in mid/late January to start a new role as a researcher, and I’m searching for a long-term place to live. I’m open to a furnished room in a shared house, a studio, or residence halls (private en-suite room with a shared kitchen). Ideally, I’m looking for a double room with an en-suite, but I’m also open to smaller house shares/rooms where the bathroom is shared with one other person (or max two people).

Preferences: Move-in: mid/end January; Budget: £800-£850; ideally want a double room (en-suite if possible, but flexible depending on the property/sharing ratio).

A bit about me: I’m a 26-year-old woman from India and have been living and working in the UK since 2022. I trained as a lawyer and work in research/consulting. I’m moving from London for this role. I work full-time and will be in the office three days a week, likely working from home the rest of the time. I’m clean, considerate, and like keeping my space cosy and tidy. I enjoy socialising with housemates but am also respectful of people’s space if that’s what they’d prefer. I’d be happy to live with grad students or other working professionals. Outside work, I enjoy the outdoors (running, badminton, pickleball), reading, cooking, the occasional coffee or meal out, board games, and exploring nice local spots. I love animals and am comfortable living with pets. A relaxed, friendly home would be ideal.
