Hi, I’m Jack — a full-time professional working for a civil engineering and design company based in Basingstoke, where I work as a Site Technician.

My work involves long days (often 10–14 hours) and night shifts when required, so I’m looking for a very quiet, calm, and peaceful home where rest is respected. I drive, so commuting is no issue, and I’m specifically looking in the surrounding areas of Basingstoke rather than the town itself.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time at the gym (3–4 hours most days), eat healthily, and read to continue improving myself — I live a disciplined, focused lifestyle. I don’t drink, smoke, or take drugs, and I’m not a social or party person. In reality, I’m out working, training, or resting most of the time.

I’m extremely clean and tidy — genuinely a clean freak — and very respectful of other people’s space, routines, and privacy. I treat a home properly and take pride in keeping it immaculate. I’m quiet, reliable, and easy to live with — essentially a very low-impact housemate.

Ideally, I’m looking for:
• A quiet, peaceful home
• A private space of my own, though I’m open to sharing the right home with the right people
• A long-term arrangement, if it’s a good fit

I need to move by 31st January, so I’m actively looking and happy to arrange viewings quickly.

In terms of rent, I’m conscious of the cost of living and would like to keep costs sensible, however I’m absolutely open to paying more for the right environment and quality of home.
