Big double room for professional couple

We are looking for a spacious double room, preferably with an ensuite bathroom, furnished, in a generous house shared with professional and respectful housemates. Our budget, with bills included, is up to £1,000 per month (or £250 per week). If the property has special features such as a garden or gym, we are open to slightly increasing the budget.
In terms of location, we prioritise quiet areas that are close to supermarkets/gyms with direct tube access to King’s Cross, but we are also open to properties with transfers if the rest of the features meet our needs. We are also in a position to pay several months’ rent in advance if required.

We are a professional couple (28 and 26) relocating to London at the end of February for work for several years. I am a cancer scientist and will be working at the Francis Crick Institute, and my partner is a secondary school teacher with a strong interest in international relations and diplomacy.
We are a calm, respectful couple who value a peaceful and tidy home environment. We are excited about this new chapter and eager to grow both personally and professionally. In our free time, we enjoy reading, watching TV series, going for walks, exercising, visiting museums, learning languages, and playing video games.
