Quiet, Established Postgraduate Seeking Calm Home

Hello,
I’m a postgraduate student returning to London after previously living here pre-Covid, and I’m looking for a quiet, well-kept room in Hampstead or the surrounding areas (Belsize Park, Primrose Hill, Hampstead Heath, Golders Green).

I’ll be studying International Tourism at Middlesex University. My week follows a steady 9–5 rhythm: classes three days a week and in-person work the other two. Two evenings a week I’m out — Tuesdays for a Ukrainian language class and Thursdays volunteering with young people in St. John’s Wood — otherwise my evenings are relaxed and low-key.

I’m calm, clean, and respectful, and I value a home that feels peaceful rather than social. I enjoy reading, running (being close to Hampstead Heath is a huge bonus), and cooking or baking simple meals. I’m very tidy in shared spaces and a firm believer in clean-as-you-go cooking. I’m an early riser and generally early to bed.

Most of my London community is already based around Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill, Belsize Park, and Golders Green, so I’m keen to live locally and put down roots rather than treat the space as a stop-gap. I see home as a sanctuary — an oasis within a busy city — and I take pride in caring for the space I live in.

I’m seeking a single room with a resident landlord or quiet household, ideally for a stay of 1–12 months. I’m flexible on move-in date and happy to provide references and complete Right to Rent checks.
