Single parent seeking shared family home

I’m a single mum to a lovely 7-year-old boy, looking to either join an existing shared family home or create one with another single parent (possibly two, depending on the setup).

My son attends Rushmore School, so ideally we’d like to stay close by or within an easy cycle. Areas we’re considering include Clapton, Lower Clapton, Homerton, Hackney Downs, Millfields, Hackney, and the nearest parts of Walthamstow.

The intention is to create a stable, supportive, nurturing, and low-stress household where:

Children have their own rooms

adults communicate clearly and respectfully (and have a laugh)

The day-to-day of running a home is shared

Everyone has more space and energy to build lives they love

This would be a values-led, platonic, family-focused setup — not a party house or a commune. Each parent remains fully responsible for their own child, with mutual support, warmth, and consideration as the foundation.

I’m organised, reliable, and emotionally grounded, and I’m looking for someone similar who values calm, clarity, and creating a healthy environment for kids.
