Moving to Reading in Feb 2026

I am moving from Australia to work at the University of Reading as a researcher, and am looking for a single or double room near or with easy access to the university and local amenities.

I tend to have a fairly active lifestyle between work, sport (notably athletics and tennis) and other hobbies, and will be looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge at home. Ideally this would be with 1-3 other house mates.

My partner is moving to Reading later in the year, so I am ideally looking for either 1) a ~6 month rental for me individually, or 2) something suitable for 2 people longer than 6 months.

I arrive in Reading in early February and will be available for viewings then. If I have expressed interest then I am willing to discuss following the early-bird period.
