Description
I'm an incoming Master's student at SOAS, studying Global Affairs and Eurasian Studies, and I'm looking for a furnished private room from 15 September 2026 until 10 January 2027.
Ideally, I'm looking for accommodation within walking distance of SOAS, particularly in Bloomsbury, Holborn, King's Cross, Angel, or the surrounding areas.
A little about me: I'm 34, quiet, considerate, and very tidy. I lead a structured lifestyle and appreciate a calm, clean, and respectful home environment. I'm comfortable living independently, mindful of shared spaces, and enjoy cooking and keeping communal areas pleasant and organised.
I would ideally prefer a female household, although I'm equally happy in a respectful and well-balanced mixed household where people value personal space and consideration for others. A smaller household is generally preferable, particularly where the bathroom is shared with only a few people.
Outside my studies, I enjoy reading, museums, theatre, classical music, exploring London's cultural life, meeting London friends, and long walks around the city. I already have friends and professional contacts in London and am looking forward to spending more time in the city during my studies. I also play the piano whenever I have access to one.
I'm looking for a place where I can focus on my studies while contributing positively to a friendly and peaceful home.
💡 Budget is flexible for the right place.
I'm happy to provide references, proof of funds, university documentation, my LinkedIn profile, or any additional information if helpful.
