Looking for a room!

I have just moved to London after 13 years of living and working in Glasgow and looking for a more permanent home here! iI have just sold my flat and have been teaching the last few years and am currently taking a sabbatical from working.

I have been called the 'dad' of the previous flats I have lived in as I like to cook and do big family-style meals for people. I'm not expecting the flat to be sparkly clean at all times but prefer to maintain a clean and tidy living space.

I am looking for a room to rent preferably in north east/north London. I have a small black cat with me so the property and other tenants must be ok with pets. She is a little bit anxious at first but is very sweet once she settles in.
