I am a support worker and I am currently assigned to helping a young married couple to find a home and prevent them from becoming homeless.
They are from Eritrea and have the right to remain; to live and to work in the UK. The husband is waiting for a CSCS card to arrive in the post so he can start work.
I will also support them to make sure they have standing order to set up to pay their rent and bills.
