Oxford-based Research Assistant

Hi, I’m Damita, 24, and I’ll be moving to Oxford to start a research assistant role at the University of Oxford, based at the Kavli Institute. I’m looking for a room in a clean, comfortable flatshare from late March (ideally the last week of March), with the hope of staying long-term if it’s a good fit.

I’m tidy, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces, and I really value a home that feels relaxed and easy to live in. After work, I enjoy a peaceful environment where everyone’s comfortable doing their own thing, but I’m also very happy to chat, hang out occasionally, or join in for dinner or night out. I don’t smoke, but I’m fine with housemates who smoke in their own rooms or outside. I do occasionally play the ukulele and sing, but it’s very low-key, at sensible hours XD

Ideally, I’m looking for a friendly, professional household in a well-maintained flat or house with good walking or cycling access to the Kavli Institute (around a 10–15 minute bike ride or up to a 30-minute walk). Preferred areas are Jericho, New Hinksey, Grandpont, Cowley.
