Friendly, quiet couple looking for a double room

Hi, we're Harry and Jet and we're looking for a room in Bristol. Jet is a Bristol native and Harry moved here from Yorkshire in 2019. We have spent a lot of the last year living at opposite ends of the UK but we have lived together before. Harry works in hospitality and Jet has a house in Scotland and travels back and forth between there and Bristol.

Our perfect room would be a large double with an en-suite or private bathroom but we're happy to be flexible on this for the right house or housemates. We're looking at places that are commuteable for Harry's work and outside of the emissions zone as Jet drives a diesel van. BS5 & BS6 and the surrounding central areas would be ideal. For a houseshare we're looking for something between £650 and £850. Our maximum budget is £900pm but only if all of our boxes are ticked or if it's a 1 bed flat.*

We'd prefer to live with 1 or 2 housemates at most and we've had great experience with live-in landlords in the past. Jet is pretty handy if you ever need help with DIY and Harry is an excellent cook who is happy to make an extra portion on occasion. We'd like to get along with housemates but we don't expect to hang out all the time and know how to respect boundaries. We're both clean & tidy and have had no complaints from former housemates about not doing the washing up!

Harry works evenings and weekends but when we can, we spend the evening watching a film or a tv show. We are both film buffs and enjoy board games and gaming in general. Jet is studying with the Open University which takes up most of her time. Sometimes we go out to see friends to play D&D and we hope to host a handful of fellow nerds on occasion. We like music and both play guitar but very rarely practice so we are very unlikely to be noisy! It would be great if a potential housemate had shared interests but no problem if not.

When the weather is better we like to take trips out to the countryside, we both like foraging and sometimes come home with wild food to share. We both have family all across the UK and try to visit them all throughout the year. We also like camping so during the fairer months you might not see us much!

Generally for us, the perfect housemates would be comfortable enough to say when something is bothering them. Everyone has their quirks and things can be worked around if we talk about it. We hope we can all find a good balance and look forward to speaking to any potential housemates or landlords :)
