Description
Hi, I’m Luke. I’m searching for someone who would like to buddy up in searching for a house.
I have many interests but the ones that take up most of my moments are art, crafts , film, animation, comics, gaming, graffiti, walks in nature, meditation and mental, emotional and physical self development.
I’m a clean and tidy person. Will wash up whilst I’m making food and finish it up before I sit to eat or straight after eating. I’ve not drank in over a year so I’d say my party days are behind me. I’ve got nothing against anyone drinking tho, I just wouldn’t want to live with someone who drinks daily or heavily. I’m a rather chilled person. Enjoy my own space but would like to live with someone who has similar interests to me so we could share occasional evenings or weekends binging films/shows, gaming or making art. Ideally someone who could become a friend as well as a housemate. Not bothered about your gender, sexuality or what you eat. As long as not a dick and cool with me eating meat.
I work from home as an artist and I also have a cat. Which means at home most of the time, unless I’m out walking, running errands, at the cinema, an exhibition or painting.
So I’m looking for a place that has either a large bedroom for me to be able to work from or a spare room that you would be cool with me turning into a studio room. If I’m working from my room, I’d ideally need some extra space in the the house for some storage. A landing space/cupboard, conservatory, shed or garage would be suffice.
I’m also looking for a place with a bath and garden. I miss having baths and I need a space for my cat to go outside. Although whilst it’s colder he’s generally inside. Bonus if you also have a cat. He could probably do with a fellow friend as he like’s company. He lived with other cats till he was one and since I’ve had him for the past ten years he’s lived with other cats on two separate occasions. Took him a few weeks till he befriended them. A spare wc would be a bonus as well. The garden , bath and space for me to work from home are definite must haves. I’m cool with a flat, if it’s big enough, ground floor and has them requirements.
Even tho I’m self employed I am currently in receipt of UC so need to find somewhere that’s cool with that. I’m currently paying 755 a month but can stretch to 900 max. Ideally looking for somewhere round Bedminster, southville, hotwells, Clifton as I’ve generally lived on the other side of Bristol since I’ve been here. I am open to most places tho, if the fits right.
Given all that said, I am open to moving into someone’s house , if they have a spare room going with a description similar to what I’ve written.
I’ve not been asked to move out of my place but I would have to give a months notice but could move out before that month is up and would like to move as soon as possible as the place I’m in has damp, mould and is generally falling apart.
I trust that’s enough information for you to decide on whether we’d be a good fit or not, feel free to drop me a message with questions you have tho
