Searching for a room!

Hello! I just moved to London from the US and am looking for a furnished room to rent from February. Ideally looking for something in Zone 1/2 -- Hampstead, Highgate, Islington, Angel, Victoria, Waterloo, Lambeth, Vauxhall, Elephant & Castle, or Wapping.

I'm still looking for a job (switching from broadcast news to the film/television industry), but I do have some leads. My budget is £1000 pcm including bills.

Preferably a sociable flat, but I'm very respectful of personal space and downtime. I will also likely have family and/or a friend from home come visit, so ideally my flatmates would be okay with them staying in my room when that's the case.

A bit more about me:

• I'm 25-years-old from outside Chicago

• I enjoy walking, museums, theatre, live music, movie and game nights in, cooking baking, and pub quizzes

• I go to the cinema a lot (I have a Curzon membership)

• I love travelling so if you're ever looking for a weekend getaway, I'd probably be down
