Two Girls and a Dog

Looking for a 6-8 month sublet for a couple and one very cute dog starting April (flexible) ideally in Clapton/Hackney/Dalston or New Cross/Brockley area (also flexible).

About us:

Jordan (she/her) - 29 years old doing the classic Australian move of coming to London for the summer. Has been hemisphere hopping the past few years while working on yachts so loves anything ocean related - diving, swimming and befriending boat owners. However, just for this summer she has given up the Below Deck lifestyle to try and become a private detective (think 40s noir, not Sherlock Holmes) but the juries still out on whether this will prove a success. In the meantime, it’s mostly line dancing, crafting and planning the next backpacking trip.

Alex (she/her) - 27 years old and moving to London for 6 months to pursue a counseling degree and spiritual training. Arts and crafts enthusiast, karaoke queen, aspiring cave explorer, and themed party extraordinaire. Will be at school a couple days a month and then studying from home the others, but no need for a quiet environment (thrives just as well in both peace and chaos). Tidy and respectful - if you’re into deep chats, silly nights out, or tarot for fun, we’ll probably get along!

Appa (he/they) - A very sweet and affectionate dog! 7 years old, hypoallergenic, well trained and reads at a first grade level. We’d like to teach him how to use the buttons but we’re scared he’ll attempt world domination. On days Alex is in class, he’ll be at daycare and on days she’s not, he’ll be tired out at a local dog park. Completely fine being by himself and won’t require care from housemates, but is happy to make friends and hang out if you’re a dog lover.

Us - Been together just under a year, met teaching line dancing in Seattle so will be on the lookout for our next honky tonk bar to boot scoot at in London. Very independent, respectful and most likely to fake propose in a restaurant to get free dessert. We both have friends (separately and together) in London so are very open to being best friends with our housemates but will not be reliant on anyone for a social scene.

We would love to find a social sharehouse of girls/gays roughly the same age who like to have dinners, throw little events and go out together (but also respect alone and work time!). We are hoping to have somewhere to stay by the time we get there (although not completely essential) so will need to send our friends to look at places and do any interviews over Zoom!
