Room/Buddy up needed

A change in my circumstances, so I'm looking for a place while I settle a bit, and to seriously think about buying my own home. I commute to Edinburgh 2days, and work at home a few days a week. I'm casting my net quite wide distance wise, in search of a nicer place that is nice to be in - so greener areas with trails nearby for runs/cycles would be a huge plus.

Im looking for a double room, in a clean tidy home, with parking as I have my own car and use it a good bit. I like to run, cycle, climb, kayak and be outside in general - so a place with any outside space and storage is a huge plus. I like gardening! I have some bigger items of kit that either needs a garage, shed, or other storage space - two kayaks, two mountain bikes, ski and snowboard stuff, and the accompanying kit to be specific. I don’t mind whether it’s a spare room, garage or shed, just kinda needs to be dry. If not I'm budgeting a storage unit nearby as I can. Equally, if my room has lots of space or storage, it’s all kept super clean so it can come in, and then I can keep less outside so it’s quite flexible. Im not a drinker, barely at all, but do really enjoy a beer/glass of wine on a special occasion, I've even recently learnt to make it myself :) Im an easy going housemate, I'm mature but still active and youthful,, and like to live in tidy, clean, homely places with good people I can chat to and relax with :) I have a pretty dry sense of humour, and may spontaneously produce baked goods!
Im hoping to find others who are outdoorsy but mostly just friendly, happy, and considerate :)
