Visiting academic at Uni of Edinburgh

Hi, I'm a visiting academic from the US and I'm looking for a flat share for between two and six months. Born in the US, but lived overseas for long stretches.

First time in Edinburgh, looking for something with good transit or walking access to the city centre/campus area. Happy to be social, like to cook and no problem washing up after.

Most of my time I'll be working on campus during the day, may be traveling for short bits elsewhere in the UK or back to the US for conferences and the like. Married, but my spouse is not joining me for most of the time I'll be in the UK. I sometimes work late or early if inspiration strikes -- I'm here to work on a writing project -- but I am pretty self-sufficient when it comes to that.

Hoping to find a flat that's got amenities (groceries, pharmacy, etc.) not too-far away, as no car.

Don't smoke, we have dogs at home and love them. (Love cats too -- it's only that I am sometimes allergic to very long-haired/fluffy ones!)
