Description
Hi! I’m Amarachi 👋🏽
I’m a 28-year-old finance professional based in London, looking to move into a new home towards the end of February.
A bit about me:
I’m Nigerian and have been in the UK for around 12 years. I’ve lived and worked in London for most of my adult life, so it truly feels like home. I work in finance and spend most days in the office (around 70% of the time).
Outside of work, I enjoy watching YouTube/TV shows, painting, cooking, baking, and long chats with friends and family. My main hobby at the moment is working out — whether that’s running, gym sessions, or workout classes. I’m slowly becoming a gym rat and usually go about 4–5 times a week! A building with a gym would be a bonus, but definitely not a deal-breaker as I always have a gym membership.
I also picked up DJing about three years ago. I don’t practice as often as I’d like, but I do sometimes practice at home. If noise is a concern, I’m very considerate and happy to schedule practice times when you’re not around. I also love listening to music while cooking, cleaning, or showering — but I’m more than happy to use AirPods if needed.
I’m very easy-going, but I do prefer a clean flat. Life happens, but keeping things in good shape most of the time (let’s say 85%!) would be ideal. I’d describe myself as an ambivert — friendly and sociable, but I do need a lot of recharge time after. The one thing I’m quite particular about is loud noise when trying to sleep, as I struggle with insomnia.
What I’m looking for:
Ideally, I’d love to join an existing flat share with one other professional female around a similar age or life stage, or potentially buddy up with someone similar. I’m quite communal and happy to share things like groceries or spend time together, but I’m equally respectful of personal space if that’s more your vibe. Open communication is really important to me.
Ultimately, I’m looking for a place that feels like home — a calm, safe space in this crazy city. If that’s what you’re looking for too, I’d love to hear from you!
Location & budget:
• Zones 1–2 (or up to 30–40 minutes into the city)
• Budget: £1,400–£1,500 including bills (max)
