Self employed professional with friendly lap cat

I'm Ewan, originally from Scotland — I've lived in London for 23 years and have been working as a hair and makeup artist since I arrived, across music, commercials, red carpet, events, TV and sometimes film.
Outside of work I sew, dabble in art, and I'm an avid plant parent. I love making the most of London — galleries, theatre, catching up with friends around the city.

I come as a pair with my lap cat Ekow, who is genuinely one of the friendliest, most well-behaved cats you'll meet. He's loving, playful, and very much enjoys a fuss.
I'm looking for a room that feels like a home. I'm respectful of shared space, tidy, and happy to do my bit. I enjoy cooking and I'm a bit of a foodie — I've been known to share what comes out of the kitchen, and I'm always up for the odd kitchen chat.
I'm looking to move between the end of April and end of May. I'm keeping an eye on Forest Gate and Walthamstow but very open to other areas if the place and the people feel right.
