Would you consider housing benefit & if application was made in front of you & with you and asked to be paid direct to yourself would you be willing if your details were put down for a direct payment instead of my own to wait for the up to 14 days it takes for the first payment? Being on uc at the moment I have no funds but to depend on housing benefit.

I have been unable to secure social housing due to having no local connection to any other area and the area I was brought up as others who brought me up passed away I have no connection and due to housing shortage having not lived there for six consecutive months in three years am no longer considered as having such a connection. I’m eligible for up to £600 pcm and in desperate need of securing my own private accommodation, cold weather and having to camp and use service station services such as washers and dryers, showers is very difficult. An answer as soon as you can would be greatly appreciated.

I need a temp base to get settled and back to work, I have a background in equine, grounds maintenance, conservation so not a professional, but a short term let in the right area to get housed and saving would be wonderful. I’m quiet but easy going and polite.
