Another outdoorsy person 😂

Hi,

I’m Niall

I’ve just started a full-time postdoc at the university. I’m looking to move to Sheffield as soon as possible (but I can wait a month if you have the right place for me). I love spending time in the outdoors and going on adventures (mostly hiking, but parity much any outdoor activities i can afford) but also enjoy spending time at home chilling. Sustainability is a big priority for me (but I do still eat meat) and so ill definitely need a space to put my bike 😊. Im also fairly sociable and think community is really important but do need me time to. (fully whoever people are whatever your beliefs as long as you show respect to others too and I’m willing to compromise if there are behaviours or things that you struggle with)

Therefore, I think its really important get along well with my flatmate(s), catch up and have the occasional dinner together etc. but also for each of us to have our own space. So this is going to be the most important thing for me in finding a place.

I am pretty flexible on the location (probably not north or east Sheffield tho), ideally around Nether Edge, Sharrow/ Greystones, Fulwood or Ecclesall road or Broomhill.

Requirements:

Friendly people to live with (yay friends)

Double bed (because I’m 30 now 😂)

good natural light in the room (I might be ginger but I’m not a vampire)

a proper kitchen with at least a full shelf in a fridge and freezer preferably to

a short walk from some green space (that’s basically anywhere in Sheffield right)

Somewhere secure I can store my bike

outdoor space so I can use my pizza oven (yes, I have a pizza oven and yes I will make you pizza if you are my friend)





Nice to have but I can live without:

a climbing wall instead of a staircase

a 5 acre parcel of land with a wild swimming pool and some sheep (fluffy ones)
