Hi! I’m Gurpal, 28, British Indian.

I studied at Brunel University and I’m originally from Birmingham. After uni I planned to stay in London, but family came first when my nan became ill, so I moved back home. She passed away about a year ago, and now that I’ve had time to grieve and reset, I’m ready to make the move properly. I’ve got a job opportunity lined up in London and I’m looking for a room share with like-minded people.

A bit about me – I’m active and gym-focused, but also thoughtful and emotionally grounded. I enjoy good conversations just as much as keeping a healthy routine. I love exploring new experiences, whether that’s discovering a new album, getting into a book, trying new food spots, or doing something spontaneous and active. I’m social and friendly, definitely a bit of a yapper once I’m comfortable, but I also really value personal space and a calm home environment.

Growing up, I lived in a household with six women (mum, grandma, aunty, and three sisters) and I’m also the oldest cousin in a family full of girls. Because of that, I’m very used to shared living, clear communication, and being considerate of others. I’ve always been comfortable living with and around different personalities, and I’m mindful about respect, boundaries, and pulling my weight at home.

I’m clean, organised, reliable, and used to contributing properly to a shared space. I value a positive, respectful household where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.
