Quiet, Easy going professional 43 yr old

I'm a quite, respectful 43 yr old male, born in Russia, but have lived in the UK for most of my adult life.
A bit shy at first until I get to know someone and they you can't stop me :-)
Looking for a home, not a hotel room, somewhere I can relax after work, have a chat, something to eat and then watcha bit of TV.
Not looking for a party house, though the odd shared drink and TV, the odd beer is great.
I have to get to know people before I can trust and open up about myself, but don't we all?
Current housemate is moving away for work and I can't afford the current place on my own, so looking for somewhere closer to work, central London and within my budget.
